WOODSTOCK, the Bronx — A 63-year-old woman was attacked and robbed by two men inside a Bronx building last week, police said.

Cops said the men followed the woman into a building near Leggett Avenue and Southern Boulevard. One man displayed a knife, pushed her and took her handbag, which contained credit cards and $200. Her bag also had her Medicare card inside.

The men fled on Southern Boulevard.

“I’m happy she’s okay,” the woman’s granddaughter said. She and her family did not wish to be identified.

Her grandmother had seven stitches after the blade sliced her finger. She says she’s feeling “nervous” and “paranoid” following the attack.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. Police have asked for help identifying the attackers. Both men are believed to be in their 40s.
