An officer-involved shooting that killed one man and landed his brother behind bars was caught on surveillance video.A Jackson police officer stopped a white SUV Wednesday morning at the Valero on Cooper and Rainey roads. The video shows the officer talking to the driver of the SUV and a struggle between the two men.The driver, identified as Elliot Reed, 30, appears to try to overtake the officer, and then the officer shot at Reed. The other man in the SUV, identified as Elliot Reed's brother, Chauncy Reed, 26, gets out of the vehicle and appears to point a gun at the officer.The officer is then shown on the video firing at the vehicle, shattering the driver's side window.Elliot Reed later died and Chauncy Reed was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and capital murder.
