Bryan officials have released body camera footage from a February officer-involved shooting that left one man injured.
The video release comes after a Brazos County grand jury reviewed evidence from the incident and declined to take action against Steven Laughlin, a 27-year-old Bryan police officer who shot the man.

Bryan officials released two videos; one from Laughlin's body camera and one from another officer who was also at the scene. Between the two vantage points, the footage depicts the man's behavior before the shooting and ends with ambulance and other law enforcement personnel arriving and tending to the man.
In Laughlin's body camera video, he approaches a woman outside of a home on Feb. 13, and listens to her complaint that a man, an ex-boyfriend, has been showing up to her home against her wishes and is in a nearby yard.
Then, Laughlin addresses the man, who is illuminated by the officer's flashlight. The man is seen pacing back and forth. The officer asks him to remove his hands from his pocket.
The video shows the man refuses to remove one of his hands from a rear pants pocket and walks from side to side of a police vehicle, which is between the man and the officer.
On the video, the officer can be heard shouting at the man, demanding he show his hands, and the woman pleading with him to cooperate. The man then makes several statements, including asking "Are you ready?" Laughlin calls for backup.
After about 3 minutes and 30 seconds, the officer says "Don't make me do this," with his gun drawn. The man can be heard responding "Do it, come on." Laughlin then fires his weapon, striking the man, who falls in the grass.
Then the video shows Laughlin telling the woman to go in the house for her safety and calls for medics to respond to the scene.
The man, who was still moving, slowly shows the officer both of his hands. It was later determined the man was unarmed and had a black cellphone in his pocket.
The second officer's body camera is blocked from view of the actual shooting, as the officer was positioned behind a vehicle. The second officer asks the woman to get in her house, for her safety.
The man was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries from the shooting. He has since been released, police said Tuesday. No charges have been brought against the man, a police spokeswoman said.
Laughlin’s actions were reviewed by the Brazos County District Attorney's Office, Bryan police and outside agencies including the Texas Rangers. The officer has returned to full duty, a police spokeswoman said.
During his career at the department, Laughlin has received numerous recognitions, including a citation for saving a child who was drowning in a pool in 2013 and another for his actions to treat an animal attack victim in 2015.
