A shocking CCTV video captured the moment a shop worker shot an unarmed thirteen-year-old boy dead after a botched theft.

Fabriccio Patti, 13, was shot seven times in the back and head after trying to run out of Lucky Cigars and Smokes in Las Vegas.

One of his two friends told detectives that the trio planned to steal a marijuana water pipe.

The trio did not wear masks, but pulled clothing over their faces.

Shop worker Raad Sunna, 24, has now been charged with open murder.

Sunna said after the shooting, ‘’He was the one coming toward me first. I felt my life was in danger. … I was afraid of dying.’

When prosecutors reviewed the video and a 911 call placed by Sunna after the shooting, he was charged with murder.

Sunna’s defense attorney, Dominic Gentile, said, ‘There is nothing that has been submitted to support premeditation or deliberation. Nothing. Nothing.’
