A man was caught on camera attacking a Tennessee woman’s car after she refused his advances.

Bailey Cantrell had already turned down the man twice outside a gas station in Nashville.

But it wasn’t until Cantrell rejected him a third time and said she’s gay that the man became enraged.

In a surveillance video, you can see him jump onto her car and start kicking in her windshield.

Cantrell panicked and got out of her car, causing many people online to criticize her actions.

“I only reversed to try to knock him over and make him fall but that didn’t work,” Cantrell said. “When I got out, I was getting out to grab my phone and call 911, and also, there was glass in my eye from where all that glass hit us. So, that was uncomfortable and I just felt like I needed to get out of the car.”

Witnesses told police the man is new to the area and stays at a local shelter.

But so far, they have not been able to find him.

Cantrell hopes her attacker will be held accountable.
