Police are searching for a man who shot a store employee during a robbery Tuesday afternoon in Midwest City.The shooting was reported at the Dollar General in the 9200 block of Northeast 10th Street, officials said.The man came into the store with a gun and demanded money, officials said. He pistol whipped the clerk, described as a woman in her 50s.Surveillance footage shows the man hitting the woman multiple times and throwing her to the side of the counter. The woman reached for the gun, and he assaulted her more.She reached for his gun again, and the two got into an altercation.One shot went off, and the woman was hit in the leg. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.The shooter is described as a thin black man wearing a bandana.
